Hi all.

Is this Keichousaurus real or fake?

This product is very cost-effective,but I have to admit there are dubious areas like the head and too-perfect tail

I just want a confirmation form the experts

Thanks

My English isn't very good, please don't mind

I like it. It appears very nicely prepped and is the less common dorsal presentation. If I were wishing to purchase it, I would make an effort to examine it in hand under a 10X loupe. If first hand inspection was not possible, I would question the seller to determine if they were involved in the preparation (a plus if they were and can speak about the piece from discovery to final prep). Good luck.

Looks good to me.  I don't see anything wrong with the head and tail.  It is acid prepped but this specimen is quite well prepped and complete.  Compare it to the natural form and acid washed specimen below:

I agree, looks good! It's hard to tell from the pictures if any digits have been touched up with paint, but at first glance they look natural.

Real IMO, but check the back of the slab, some of the filled cracks (white lines) seems not to fit or continue in the direction they should. Maybe overpainted, difficult to see.

Backside of the slab could show what's going on, if so...
