Hello TFF,

I’m interested in trade this Neolobites vibrayeanus (d'ORBIGNY, 1841). It is a rare species on the north margin of Tethyan Realm and apparently preferred lower tropical latitudes in Upper Cenomanian. It is not easy to obtain. On the north margin of European Tethys it is only reported from France (rarely), Portugal and Spain. I only ever collected 6 complete specimens (2 of those are now with a TFF member). I will be interested in one nice European  amonite, or goniatite, or ceratite, or trilobite...

Thanks for looking,

Ricardo

Possibly the only cephalopods that lived in shallow marine and periodically agitated environments, above storm wave base, were the above ammonite  N. vibrayeanus and the nautiloid Angulithes mermeti (Coquand, 1862).The other ammonites avoided these environments where these two nektonic carnivore  were able to build ecologic niches . This specimen is also available for trade.
