I decided to brave the heat and go hunting in the north Sulphur river after two huge rises and did it pay off I found a lot of good finds but the find of the day was the lower half of  the left dentrey of what I believe is a Platecarpus. I knew right away what it was when I walked up on it and said a bad word.

Beautiful jaw!!

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!
