Scarz666
Hello my name is brittaney. I am new to this forum. I have been looking for sharks teeth as long as I can remember with my mom. Just this past year my tooth collection has taken a real big turn out. All my teeth I have found have been found on venice beach florida. Great location for shark teeth. I have found a lot but only so many have stood out to me. That I just dont know what they are. I really appreciate the help. Thank you. PaleoNoel
1 Not sure, maybe bone fragment or worn ray plate. 2. Tiger shark (Galeocerdo sp.) 3, 4, 5. Look like worn fragments of larger shark teeth, probably Mako or Great White. 6. Looks like a sand tiger (Carcharias sp.) and it may be modern as it's still white. 7. Snaggletooth shark (Hemipristis serra). 8. Looks like a heavily worn tiger shark tooth. 9. Maybe a sand tiger or a lower hemipristis. 10. Hemipristis 11, 12, 13. Sand Tiger 14, 15. Carcharhinus sp. (could be bull shark, blacktip, copper shark, Dusky etc.)

Mark Kmiecik
I'm not a shark tooth collector, but because they are popular I get to see quite a few on this forum. You have some very nice specimens there. Thanks for the photos. 1 Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
