Lagartixa
Found it at the Trinity River in Fort Worth Texas. Is it Pleistocene and wich bone and animal is it from? About 10 cm.

hemipristis
I think it's safe to say that we can eliminate mouse, shrew, and squirrel. Beyond that I can't offer any more help. 1 'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.' George Santayana
caldigger
It seems to be "ball and socket" configuration. Maybe something crocodilian? Out of my forte' ( not that I especially have one to be out of! )

Yasei
You most definitely found some time of vertebra! I can't tell you what it is but i will congratulate you on finding that!
Creek - Don
It's most likely a bison dorsal vertebra. I just found one and everyone had to identify. Luckily mine were nearly intact so I was able to identify which specie it belonged to. Yours is badly worn so maybe hard to determine the exact species.
