I only had one sand tiger tooth so I went here to get more. It was a great day for collecting.

I would need to see a close-up of the tooth crown but probably a croc tooth with a full root.  No dolphins in the Paleocene.  When crocs shed teeth the emerging tooth breaks up the root of the tooth that it is pushing out.  So that tooth is mostly likely not shed but from the jaw of a croc that died before the tooth came out.

I also overheard a woman tell someone that she found a meg in this area. From what I understand, that would be “a big nope”.
