Sacha
I know this is probably foolish to even ask, but can anyone give a likely identity to this 22 mm phalanx I picked up in the Santa Fe yesterday?

digit
Well beyond my paygrade to suggest an identification but hoping that @Harry Pristis is familiar and can enlighten us. Glad to see you were able to make it out to the Santa Fe to gather some interesting fossils while the Peace River is too high and fast. I'm amusing myself picking micro-matrix for millimeter scale fossils while waiting for a (hopefully) longer fossil hunting season after this summer. Cheers. -Ken
ynot
I guess feline, possibly panther. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough."
