Did some preliminary review of some of the Eocene pubs but nothing screamed yep thats it... From a quarry near Fossil Lake, Kemmerer, Wyoming. Green River Formation. Mark Kmiecik
Better detail than the two FMNH specimens. I'm lovin' it. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

I am also trying to get some photos of some other things from the Green River rephotographed that I acquired as well and maybe ask Dr.Manchester..These 2 additional little gems are from the Parachute Creek Member, Bonanza Utah side of things... No scale in these photos unfortunately....both under US quarter/latter under a US dime sized.... Regards, Chris

I like the live ones a bit more but they get bugs sometimes.... the long gone compressed ones are almost as much fun. So I found out that this first little guy (I attached a new better closeup picture) is an example of something thought to be extinct, there is nothing living today that it matches. Still a mystery of sorts that may get worked on further/described down the road when time/resources permit. In addition to the specimens from Kemmerer there are a few specimens from the Green River shales of Little Mountain, south of Rock Springs Wyoming. Apparently it is confined to the early Eocene because none have been found in the younger localities of Green River such as Douglas Pass. Thanks Scott for directing me to Dr. Manchester! @piranha Regards, Chris
