sea urchin reconstruction

My sea urchin  build I've had the stuff for a while and decided to start assembling the little bugger.

I can tell you right now, I would have snapped off more of those spines trying to glue on the others. :wacko:

Will you be planning on mounting this guy on a petistool since some of the spines will undoubtedly face the bottom?

I'm swearing just looking at the pics. I don't think I have enough de-bonder to even consider such a task. Very cool little project though, can't wait to see the finished product.

It looks like there weren't too many spots that on the bottom of it for spines so for now it will look like it is hugging the ground.

Ha! What a job. But it looks very delicate now... What kind of glue did you use?

How do you know which spines belong where, or were you just guessing? I assume they weren't all found in one spot, too, and probably belonged to several individuals in life, or am I wrong?
