What is it? Devonian, Mahantango Formation, MD

Recommended Posts

I received some rough material that is labeled as Mahantango Formation, Middle Devonian : Givetian, McCoy's Ferry, Maryland.

The stone has some strange circular impressions on it. I have no idea what these are. Can anyone tell me what these impressions are?

Thanks in advance!

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

Dale's ID looks good, also there might be some bryozoans, but your picture is a bit blurry. :)
