Big Brook NJ Claw ID

Hey all havn't been on this website in a while but I found something very interesting at big brook, NJ. Thanks for any help.

Not a claw for one very simple reason, no matter what else it may be. If a claw had that much curve the animal wouldn't be able to let go while it was under tension and the prey would possibly be able to rip it out, in which case the predator would likely die of infection -- a long, slow, painful death. Evolution works better than that. Only positive traits are passed on.

Yeah, gastropod steinkern. Most frags are not identifiable.
