Cool find!

It appears to be the interior mold of an oyster (probably texigryphaea or a close relative).

At least that's my guess.

Definitely not a claw or tooth. It lacks the necessary surface structure details like grooves on a claw or enamel on a tooth.

That is what I was thinking as we searched. The texture also looked very different than the other things we looked up.
