John S.
Hey guys can anyone recognize what this piece of bone is from? It matches the look of Pleistocene material from my area, far north central Texas. Thanks! fifbrindacier
Hi, does it smell when you burn it ? "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." Mark Kmiecik
Are those photos of four bones or two bones? Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

I'm not a bone guy but have some limited animal anatomy skills, but I can't even figure which bone this may be, let alone which animal. I think you'll have to wait for someone with a bit more knowledge. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them! Maybe a sub adult? North Central Texas Eagle Ford Group / Ozan Formation

There is some similarity there and this photo also explains the size and proportions, which is what I was having a problem with. Mark.
