Constantine
Hello, I see a lot of websites that sell abelisauridae teeth and raptor teeth, to me look the same size and shape, how can you tell the difference? (raptor tooth white backround), (abelisauridae tooth yellow backround)
Troodon
They are both Abelsaurid teeth most likely from the same species. The distal carina on Abelisaurids is perpendicular to the base. Raptors are typically have recurved edge on the distal edge among other characteristics. Most of what you see being sold as raptors are not and an Abelisaurid is NOT a raptor.

LordTrilobite
99% of what is being sold as Kem Kem raptor is all likely Abelisaurid. But there do seem to be raptors present in the Kem Kem beds. They are just really rare. And their teeth are kinda hard to identify. 1 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
