JUAN EMMANUEL
Hi. I have heard of Precambrian stromatolites found in the Precambrian rocks of Ontario but I am curious, has there been any reports of Ediacaran or Mistaken Point- like fossils being found in the Canadian Shield of Ontario? Pumpkinhead
I'm not aware of any Neoproterozoic fossils in Ontario. As far as stromatolites are concerned, I've heard that the Espanola Formation (Huronian supergroup) may contain stromatolites locally
connorp
If there were you could bet the ROM wouldn’t let you anywhere near them.
