B.Saintsing
Hello! I’m a new member from NC. I’m a fossil novice but look forward to learning! These fossils were found in shell piles at the high tide line at Ocean Isle Beach - a small island on the southern coastline of North Carolina. I think these are teeth but I can’t find any similar teeth online. Any help with identification is greatly appreciated!

Hi There, Welcome to the forum .. @Darktooth has got it ! ... and is more familiar with the fossils up north but these definitely look like sawfish rostral spines/teeth. Here is an example of two from North Carolina featured on Elasmo.com Ischyrhiza mira — Rostral spines Late Cretaceous Tar Heel Fm, (Campanian), Bladen Co., NC .... and more examples of Rostral spines of Ischyrhiza mira Image Credit: https://www.researchgate.net/figure/rostral-spines-of-Ischyrhiza-mira-leidy-1856-a-rostral-spine-measurements-not-to_fig4_324114326 Cheers, Brett
