Part of a crab or ghost shrimp claw. Minus the pincers.

some sort of a brachiopod possibly...? Im not familiar with the geology of NJ though. I wana keep an eye on this and see what the more knowledgeable members say :)  B

This is definitely a claw. These are quite a common find in the Cretaceous streams of New Jersey. The pincers are missing on every one I have ever found except for 1.

Thanks! I just looked up that type of shrimp and I can definatly see it now. Still got a lot to learn...
