Probably nothing, but

My son found this rock swimming at our lack cabin in Wisconsin.  Looks like a rock, but is sort of shaped like a tooth.  A big tooth!

Sorry, only have a US tape measure at the cabin.  No metric.

Does not look like a tooth to me, perhaps a piece of bone, but most likely just a rock.

Texture does look slightly bone like but could very well be just a sedimentary type rock. Despite its pointed appearance, fossilized teeth generally have a shiny enameled surface on the crown of the tooth which this does not show.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of great fossil information to be found here. Searches for 'Wisconsin' on this forum should turn up some information on fossils and fossil locations in your general area. Fossil hunting is a fun (and addictive) hobby--hope you stick around and learn a bit about fossils. ;)

Cheers.

I'm thinking maybe basalt ? The thin lines along the ridges would be where it cracked while cooling and was slightly more indurated by the infiltration of other minerals.
