Ice Age Human or Animal Teeth?

Found an object among rocks which resembles eroded teeth enamel

 

Location: Tobermory, Ontario

 

Dimensions:

Length: 4 cm

Width: 2 cm

Height: ~ 1 cm

 

Any ideas?

Either that, or modern. Tobermory bedrock is Silurian (Guelph Fm).

I think it remains Silurian (yellow on this map; 53c and 54a) for quite some distance until south of Port Elgin where it grades into Devonian (the green on this map).

Think about it -- if a human had a tooth that big he'd have to be 12 to 14 feet tall.
