Fossil legend
This is a “pterosaurs” jaw I got as a gift a little bit ago. It was sold as a pterosaurs jaw with composite teeth the species is Siroccopteryx But Am almost 100% sure that it is wrongly identified it looks like a crocodile jaw maybe. So if someone can help me identify the jaw that would be amazing.
connorp
Can we see a photo of the cross section of the jaw? I agree that it does not look pterosaur.

I know it’s really hard to identify crocodiles from Morocco but am going to at least try. So I’ll take all the help that I can get.

Haravex
Sadly its pay-walled but this should help in identifying possible future pterosaur jaws from the north african region. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1464343X18301390

But I made a mistake by posting it at night so pretty much nobody saw it and it got lost in the fossil ID section. But I did get somebody to confirm that yeah it probably is a crocodile so that’s nice.
