Brishen1
Hi, I found some interesting rocks in some gravel near downtown Indianapolis. Photo with the ruler is in inches, sorry to the rest of the world. Thanks in advance! Brishen1
Thanks @JohnBrewer, I’ve found a bit of Horn corral at the same site but that has all been limestone. Any guess to the species?
JohnBrewer
I’m not sure you could get it down to species level. @TqB might know John Map of UK fossil sites

No need to be sorry, I think the whole world knows that an inch is the width of a man´s thumb. In some cases, its a much more handy unit than the ol´ cm or so !!!! But sorry, can not comment on your fossil, but nice find for some gravel, I like it! Franz Bernhard
grandpa
What I think I''m seeing are calcite pebbles and an imprint of a pectin shell. But maybe that's just me.
