Thomas
I found this fossil on a vacation in shallow water at a lake a few years ago and have always been wondering what it was. I'm no fossil expert so I have never been able to identify it.
Peat Burns
This is an internal mold of a pentamerid brachiopod (the shell has eroded or dissolved away - basically it's the "mud-filled" interior of the shell; the mud then became petrified over time). Neat find.
Thomas
Very cool thanks for the Id. My pockets tend to magically fill up with cool rocks wherever I go so I just re found it in a bucket while cleaning out my room before moving out. Glad I can finally know what it is years after finding it. Edited August 16, 2019 by Thomas

The only cure is to wear clothing without any pockets!
