Fossil bone near Mt. Ida

So yesterday I was out looking for quartz in Mt Ida and happened across this interesting piece of fossil. Anyone have any ideas? I sifted through some pages online and didnt come up with anything that resembled it's relatively small size and pointed spine features on top.

Looks like part of a sacrum to me. 

Of what? I got nuthin'. :shrug:

Welcome to the Forum and it is Definitely a sacrum. If you give it a good hosing and get that dirt off, I think you’ll be able to see it better and be more confident in the ID.   Based on the size, flared shape and number of fused vertebrae it looks like a horse to me. My guess is it may be relatively recent.
