Me and @DanJeavs recently had a trip to Wrens nest in Dudley, England. It's Alot older than what we're used to collecting and my first time collecting inland.

Hammers are not allowed here so collecting here involves looking through as many rocks as you can find and spraying with water.

Red trilobite tail, looks like it's showing upside down.

Nice finds. It's always good to venture out into the unknown. Looks like those ripple sediments are on that large slipped block at the right in that first photo. Or do all of the sediments lay at such an acute angle?

A few sections there have ripple beds in. Really interesting place as far as geology goes. It’s a giant coral reef bed from the Silurian. Every single rock you turn over is covered in coral, shells, partial trilos and crinoids etc.

Nice, a good place in which to hunt.

Calymenid Glabella.May wanna prep it, there could be more under the overlying sediment!

Every single fossil you see is a miracle set in stone, and should be treated as such.
