Fossilywend
Found today on the English Yorkshire Coast ( Runswick bay). At first i thought it was maybe layers of a type of fossilised plant but I cant find anything to match the markings on this. Completely baffled by it. Looks very cool though. ID help, please? LiamL
I think it looks like cone in cone structures, not a fossil but an interesting find. 4 Yorkshire Coast Fossil Hunter

I'm a bit confused...why is this not a fossil? Sorry, answered above.

Mark Kmiecik
Nice find. I'm 68 and have never found one let alone seen on in person. Not something commonly found in my neck of the woods. Mark. I almost left it for someone else but couldnt as it intrigued me so and I had to find out what it was!
FossilNerd
I agree that it’s geological, but still very cool. I would keep it and display it on my non fossil shelf. I can’t help but come home with a few geological items when I go fossil hunting.
