Notidanodon
Hi guys I looked up fossils in Paxos and only one result cane up , shell beds in Gaios, I didn’t hunt these I found the flint corals on the northern tip of the island tumbled by the sea and seemingly from a flint band about 1/4 up the cliff. The other were quite erratically found on the coast around the island , I also found a belemnite but due to a lack of hammer and chisel couldn’t remove it. Does anyone know anything about these fossils thanks, will

grandpa
I know that you have a very nice collection of very attractive corals with a variety of really aesthetic patterns. Were they in my collection, I'd be tempted to saw off a part of each and polish the flat surfaces to really show off the patterns - but that's just me. I like to saw corals at different angles so that I get a sense of the cross-sectional pattern and a longitudinal cut to see that cell structure. But tumbling can give the same views for many samples. I don't think you can go wrong; either way you'll have beautiful specimens.
