What type of rocks are these

I have trouble trying to tell what rocks these. Not a fossil identification, I still do need help. I want to know if i can find fossils in the area.

Can you take some closer shots? This is pretty far away to really see what we need to for ID.

I don't know where is Jurupa... Would you indicate where you found it ?

From what I can make out, I'm not seeing any fossils. 


Telling what type of rock you have is extremely difficult via photograph.  :unsure: 
Usually, you need to do streak tests, hardness tests, and or specific gravity tests to figure out what you have. 

Feel free to post more photos in replies in this topic. :) 

We'll do our best, but can't make any promises.

This information from HERE is very, very, very old, ... and probably no longer accurate

It is a good place to start your research from, however. ;)
