The species/locality label states: The Frodingham Ironstone Formation, Denotatus Subzone, Obtusum Zone, Lower Lias, Lower Jurassic, Conesby Quarry, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, England. Age: 200 Million Years Old. Size of Ammonite: 17.8cm (7 inches) in diameter. Overall Size = 22.9cm (9 inches) wide by 24.2cm (9.5 inches) high.
