Hello, I am from Minnesota and on vacation in Florida, and I found these things on the ground. What are they? (Sorry if these are not even fossils and just a common rock or something)

I am from Minnesota and im in Florida for a vacation and im finding a couple of these weird rocks, what are they?

The pic is out of focus, but that appears to be coral.

Welcome to the forum and, for the moment, Florida. ;)

 

Was this (and the other finds you mentioned) found on/near the beach or somewhere inland? If it was on the beach then likely it is a small weathered piece of a modern coral skeleton. If found inland then it is a fossil remnant of when most of South Florida was covered with a shallow sea.

 

Where are you currently in Florida. If you are in the right area, you might possibly be able to find other interesting things like fossilized shark teeth.
