Hi, that's my second preparation using only handtools and table grinder for rough shaping. Limestone can be a pain but I'm slowly learning moves, can't wait for engraver :D

I'm still loooking for my "style", let me know what's wrong and what is right :)

Looking good. All I would say is keep it up and make sure you have your PPE squared away (respirator, safety glasses, ear plugs...) Prepping fossils can wreck your body in so many ways.

You’re doing good! Ptychodus04 pretty much summed it up. Keep up the good work and wear your protective gear. Can’t wait to see your next project!

I like that you are keeping the edges natural and rough. Very appealing!

Kind of like Doren... :default_rofl:

I'm afraid there's no diamond hiding beneath this exterior either!

The best way to learn is to keep preppin and try different things once in awhile.  Tips from others can also be very helpful.  The more you get into this 'prepping' fossils the more tools you will aquire and one of the most important things,,,,,,,,,  Patience.   Good luck
