I’m trying to ID the tooth at the center of this spectrum. To its’ left, Sand Tigers. To its’ right, makos. But the specimen in the middle is... a bit of both?

How about this one @jcbshark? Trying to ID Carcharias uppers (or is it lowers?).

to its’ left, very curved roots. To its right, flatter roots. But the specimen in the middle is both larger and flatter than all the others. Is it still Carcharias?

I think they are all Carcharias, the one in question is a lateral tooth from a larger individual than the others.
