Trilobite part for ID

Rocky Stoner

Recommended Posts

Hi folks !

While on a walk to my mailbox, at a quick glance, I noticed the unmistakable shape of this little guy halfway protruding from the shale bank along the road.

There is a very thin vein of highly populated matrix that is on my list for future investigatory excavation.

Anyone care to provide a positive ID ? (see tags for pertinent info)

Thanks so much,

:)

Looks like a typical Eldredgeops rana.

Nice to have you back posting. We've missed seeing your cool finds. :)

Thank you Tim !

Been too busy to do any digging this summer, but plan to break some ground soon.

This one spurred my interest a bit.

Regards,

:)

Life does, sometimes, get in the way.  ;)

I've been there, many times.

But take some time for yourself, whenever the opportunity arises.
