minnbuckeye
Help!!! I lost a good reference for IDing Burlington limestone crinoids and blastoids. I spent all last night fruitlessly looking for it. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good reference??? Mike
FossilDAWG
Any idea what the reference was? It would be easier to search for it online with a name or author. Don

I stumbled on it a few years ago and copied it off not thinking I would be in this situation.
DPS Ammonite
See this reference with a few photos. Consider contacting Forest Gahn, the Burlington Fm. crinoid expert. Also search in Google Scholar with keywords to find references. http://www.jsjgeology.net/Gahn-talk.htm Look at “Images of Iowa’s World Famous Crinoids”. https://www.cedarvalleyrockclub.org/crinoids.html My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned. See my Arizona Paleontology Guide link The best single resource for Arizona paleontology anywhere.

After looking at the lower link above , I was surprised to see they featured a picture of MY crinoid!!!!!!! Not sure where they got it from. Coincidentally a college student and Fossil Forum member asked to use the same image in his thesis, to which I agreed. Hopefully he will tell us about it in the near future. It is a wonderful piece of literature. Mike
