rachelgardner01
I made my first trip out to DSR today and, with some helpful tips from some kind people on the forum, I was able to find the site and know what to look for. Its a nice little spot. Near the road, easy to get to, and quiet. I didn't find anything exceptional, but I thought I would post pics of my favorites for anyone looking up the spot. Thank you to the owners of the site for let everyone come and enjoy it. 7
Paul1719
Rachel, Very nice specimens!!! Those are obviously not all from today? Paul
Jeffrey P
Congratulations. Looks like you did super excellent. That complete prone Greenops would have a lot of people jealous. Some very interesting specimens of the bryozoan, Atactotoechus and the bivalve, Grammysia bisculata. You're likely to find new things each time you go there.

rachelgardner01
@Paul1719 yes all from today, but I was there for well over an hour. I really love the Atactotoechus? The brach like fossils. The detail on them is beautiful. I'm hoping to return and find more like them. thank you @Jeffrey P you are very knowledgeable about all this. Monica
Great stuff! I especially like your Grammysia bisculata with both valves present and the bryozoan-with-brachiopod plate (last photo) - very nice!
Darktooth
Nice finds, Rachel! And yes @Jeffrey P is very knowledgable about this site. He was kind enough to reach out to me when I was a new member and invited me to that site. You did very good for your first time there. That Greenops is really nice. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

You have to ask for permission from the landowner, at the house before the roadcut. PM sent.
