Bite mark belemnite?

I don't know if it's a belemnite - it kind of reminds me of an echinoid spine - could that be a possibility, too?

It looks like a belemnite. I'm not sure if the holes are bite marks, though it's certainly possible - belemnites can have all sorts of burrows.

the holes are most likely from the boring sponge (aren't they all?), genus Cliona.  Cliona has been around since the Cretaceous at least.  I included a photo of a modern venerid clam with Cliona borings
