UNREAL!!!!! KILLER finds.

Very nice finds. Ya gotta love the Paratodus.

Here are my jumbo mako teeth. All personal finds except the bottom tooth.

The top row runs from 2.9" to 2.99" and all the rest are 3" to 3.28". Same pic with different lighting.

Largest tooth.

What they typically look like when I find them. It has a bit of cleaning to show the hidden color beneath the mineral coating.

If I ever get my boat back out of the shop I hope to find another monster mako this year.

Those are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing those with us.

I've seen 3 unrepaired, 3" false Makos on eBay in the last 3 years. There are more 3" Great Whites available.

Hey Guy, sorry to be late on this one but here is my 3.125" Beni that I found a while back. Just a little tip rounding or it would have been larger.

WOW! Very interesting. I hope he gets it!

I'm almost positive I've seen these two teeth and actually examined the larger specimen - it's incredible!

ok, 2 tanks, 4 teeth: small bull, medium great white, medium mako and HUGE lower mako. 3.25 on one slant and 3&1/l6 on the other!!! If it had not been for the mako, it would have been another bad week.

Looks like who ever won this one got a bargain.

I had expected that one to go for about half the price. Very nice tooth though.

Yeah, in the auction photos there was nothing to show the size. Any tooth over 3 inches is rare - over 3 1/4 is a whole other level of rarity. With Ebay descriptions, especially of shark teeth, famous for exaggeration and euphemism, I would've expected a more cautious winning bid (once I saw a guy at the Tampa show carrying his own pair of calipers as a buying aid). Perhaps a couple of the bidders had seen the tooth up close already.

I had expected that one to go for about half the price. Very nice tooth though.

I'll add my 3.01" Mako B) The 3 in the bottom row are all 2.9+

Congrats, you are a now a member of one of the most elite clubs that I know of! I remember how excited I was to have my first 3+ inh mako.

I thought I would update my club membership with this ever so elusive "LOWER" Mako. As y'all know lower teeth in general are far rarer than upper teeth. This Massive tooth is all natural, and I am its' proud new owner. :D

FS,

Here is a 3.25 inch hastalis from the Sharktooth Hill Bonebed. I was lucky to have the extra money at the time. It is the largest hastalis from anywhere in my collection.

Haven't On herein a while. Work, home, and wife have all kept me busy, but I'd like to show off my newest acquisition. A 3 1/4 mako from St Marys, Georgia!
