Also, many things preserved in Mazon Creek were literally shapeless blobs of gelatinous matter around which a concretion would form. It may actually be a fossilized shapeless blob of gelatinous matter and nothing more. It may be a coprolite. Is there another half? If there is, could you post a photo, please. Mark.
