Fossils or rocks?

Often the Cretaceous limestone rocks around Austin are weathered in the shapes of bones, but are still just weathered rocks.

Still though, often they contain snails and clams which are true fossils.

Austin has tricked me many a times with such rocks....

But you are quiet correct! There are some very lovely and often extremely well preserved shell fossils to be found
