Puzzled at what this is?

Looks like it might be a hyperostotic fish bone, or tilly bone.

Me and my husband found similar ones within miles of each other. So I dont think it's a tilly bone

The photos seem to show some interesting irregular layering going on but the last ones are not clear. Not sure if its a tilly or something else. I'm not sure the photos are doing it justice and may require someone to look at it in hand.

What does your find look like?
