Real or fake ammonite

My parents recently came back from a trip to Montenegro, they picked up an ammonite from a local seller who told them it was from the Bay of Kotor and I’m just not 100% convinced it’s real. I’ve attached a couple pictures, any input would be much appreciated!

It appears to be the real thing. It would not be worth the work to fake one that is that rough as the selling price probably wouldn't pay for the time put into making it.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!

I think real as well.

Maybe not the best looking ammonite in the world, but from an interesting and unusual location.:)
