PODIGGER
Happy Fossil day to all. Here are some of my favorite finds from this year, including a sloth tooth to go with the official poster. All fossils were found in the Peace River. Mammoth, Mastodon, Sloth and the latest -a nice Bison lower molar p3 .

Are they important in paleolimnological research? MWAH Yes, they are, because they 1. can live in a wide range of salinity, but are 2. addicted to clear waterbodys with no turbidity and at 3. least some month of existance (and their gyrogonites are from CaCO3, so they are often preserved and might be used for geochemical analyses...)
