Missouri fossil of some kind

Found this interesting rock at the creek today and was wondering what y'all can tell me about it? 

   I can find cool stuff all day but I can't really tell y'all much about it.

    The little round thing in it is what I was most curious about, and I just figured it would be cool for you all to look at as well.

It's one of a number of crinoid columnals with a fragment of fenestrate bryozoan thrown in for good measure.

I'm in agreement with @Rockwood on the ID.  Good eye noticing it.

Do you ever find artifacts while climbing around in those S.W. Mo. creeks?

Lots of bits and pieces of assorted marine organisms. Basically, every bit of debris from dead creatures that ended up on the sea floor. It's fun to find all the little semi-identifiable critters using a jeweler's loupe.

Thanks and yes I do find artifacts, hunting artifacts and my recent start on hunting fossils is my favorite thing to do.

Great collection!  Thanks for sharing these with us.  You may notice that we also have a discussion section dedicated to archeology.  So if you ever want to show off your artifact finds or ask for ID of any artifacts, we have a group at TFF that also has interest in that area.  You might want to add this as a section that you follow, if interested.
