North Sulfur River rib bone fragment.

Hello all! I found this in a tributary to the NSR.

It looks like bone, feels like metal and sounds like potery (when I tap on it). I almost left it sticking out of the sand because it looked like a piece of metal. I'm pretty sure it's bone.

Any ideas? Thank's!

Hello all! I'm reposting this "bone" fossil because I'm stumped. I know someone on here knows what it is. Please help me :,-(

I found it in a small creek that leads into the north sulfur river. There are both cretaceous and iceage fossils present in the area. Most of what I find there is mosasaur bone material.

I honestly don't know much else.

Best to have only one.

You can always bump it back to the activity streams by asking for more information, if what you received was not precise enough.

That said, I agree it is a piece of rib, but of what?
I have no clue.
