I always enjoy seeing your wonderful finds, and the remains of that carboniferous forest.

Beautiful finds as always! We visited the Burpee Museum of Natural History this weekend , in Rockford, Illinois. They had a spectacular life sized recreation of a carboniferous forest. So it is very timely that  your examples are posted now. I can go back and reminisce with each and every fossil you showed! Thanks. Only wish I had my camera (or cell phone) along to record their display.

Another fine collection of Carboniferous fossils Gery. The Sphenopteris in particular is stunning.
