What kind of tooth (big brook)

Hi. Found this at big brook yesterday. Thought it was just a piece of a shark tooth at first. Now that it dried out it’s not smooth or flat like a shark tooth. It’s more circular and rough. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

Interesting. Definitely take some better pics. It reminds me of a plesiosaur tooth.

@hokietech96 do you own a magnifying glass or jewelers loupe? You can use these with your phone camera to get a zoomed in pic.

I think these are better pictures. If not I will do it tomorrow in sun light. Those are better but I’m looking forward to the sun light pictures. But based off of these photos so far it looks like Plesiosaur.

I'm leaning towards Plesiosaur as well, but when you take your photos in the sunlight, please try to get them better focussed. It's still difficult to make out the fine details. It's best not to hold your camera too close to the object. You can enlarge the photo afterwards if necessary.

Ok. I think this is so much better  even though it’s a rainy day and the sun is not out. Thanks for you patients. Crazy that I overlooked this thinking it was a broken shark tooth with no root. Not until I was looking through all my findings last night that realized I had something different. After reading up on this type of tooth, it seams that it’s not to common to find one. Thanks again for all your help and feedback432085AC-CF3F-4C31-9F28-C736C656D235.jpeg.318ad2cc12f8bcf23e51f3f0cdd6ee13.jpeg0B368B77-B0F0-4092-96E8-9B1AC726D17E.jpeg.5a1f06a5a862434bd3f54f02602c2f75.jpeg

Also I found this. It might be another broken up piece of Plesiosaur. It seems to have the same color and textureF0E867E5-848C-4D28-B18C-BB5309A48008.thumb.jpeg.46c7a13bbd3c3de86499e8185f3a6759.jpeg

Can’t see it too well, but it looks like a broken sawfish rostral.
