Lake Erie (Paleozoic) Tabulate Coral Fossil?

Hello everyone,

I recently found this piece along the shores of Lake Erie near Sunset Bay, NY.  I'm not sure what I have here and was wondering if anyone might be able to help me identify it.  For a little general information, the piece is pale white and features small tubular / stacking formations throughout it.  When held in the light, the little stacks sparkle.  The piece is just a little over an inch in diameter.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

No doubt. Probably a favositid.

Agreed. It's preserved as an internal mould (i.e. the corallite walls have since dissolved away), probably in silica with small quartz crystals hence the sparkle. There are some nice rods showing between the corallites, where the pores that linked them (a characteristic of favositids) have been filled.
