mamlambo
I found a really good concretion a few months ago here in New Zealand and didn't want to try prep it myself as I am still very much a beginner. Luckily, @DLB was willing to help me out and did an amazing prep job - both sides! It's by far the best crab in my collection, and very well travelled after it's 24 000km (15 000mi) flight It measures 16cm (6.25") across. I made a video of me finding it, sending it off, and opening it which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4cqpVKsOO0 Thanks for the amazing prep job @DLB!
MeargleSchmeargl
Awesome! Wish I had a crab site like this near me. By the way, how does it look from the side? Every single fossil you see is a miracle set in stone, and should be treated as such.

RJB
Really cool prep. I have always thought about doing both dorsal and ventral but have never gotten around to putting in that much time. Great specimen fella! RB
