Newly prepped Tumidocarcinus Giganteus crab, collected by myself

I found a really good concretion a few months ago here in New Zealand and didn't want to try prep it myself as I am still very much a beginner. Luckily, @DLB was willing to help me out and did an amazing prep job - both sides! It's by far the best crab in my collection, and very well travelled after it's 24 000km (15 000mi) flight

 

It measures 16cm (6.25") across.

Only if the bulk of the preparation was done this month.

  Really cool prep.  I have always thought about doing both dorsal and ventral but have never gotten around to putting in that much time.  Great specimen fella!

Makes me wonder if someone has done a 3-D or nearly 3-D prep job on one of these.
