Hello all, first post on the forums despite joining awhile ago.

Last winter I was fortunate enough to have some serious luck at Purse State Park in 2 consecutive trips while I was on break. Thanks to @Williamb55I was able to finally muster some motivation to seek some help to ID what I believe is a Crocodile tooth and Otodus from the Paleocene Epoch. Of course this could be inaccurate but I would love some insight into my find, comments and replies are appreciated.

Best,

DF

The shark tooth is definitely Otodus.

I was more confident it was but the "croc" tooth is what I'm really curious about

Nice anterior (upper?) Otodus obliquus, and the rooted croc tooth is awesome.

Yes, it's a croc tooth. Unusual to find one there with the intact root.

Yup, that is a croc tooth.

Oh, and it looks like you might have found some kind of shark tooth as well.

The tooth I've confirmed is an Otodus (ive only found a handful of Otodus in the past year)

yeah, I know.  That was my sideways way of noticing that everyone was telling you about the shark with very few mentions of the tooth you asked about.   : )
