Don't have any involvement! But my colleague Dr. Win McLaughlin is on the case. Haven't read the article but from our correspondence it's a postcranial baleen whale skeleton. Fingers crossed for skull elements or earbones mixed in there!

I know Russell Shapiro. We both work for CSU Chico. He is helping my museum with a Paleontology exhibit ! Great guy. I had not previously seen the article. Pretty cool.
